Help Team 34 Go To Worlds!!
Our team was awarded the FIRST Engineering Inspiration Award at the Rocket City Regional in Huntsville, AL. This award gives us the opportunity to attend the FIRST World Championship in Houston, TX from April 14th-19th. Attending this event will allow us to compete alongside 600 teams from 60 countries. The registration alone is $5,800. This means we will need to raise at least $10,000 to go to Worlds. If you are interested in donating to our team scan the QR code to visit our GoFundMe. Checks can be made out to "Team 34"!
Who are we?
Team 34 - The Rockets is a robotics team comprised of high school students from all over Limestone County and Athens City school systems that collectively attend the LCCTC. We have been a FIRST Robotics team since 1996, making us the first and oldest FRC team in Alabama.
Not to mention, we are one of the oldest teams in the world!

FIRST Robotics
FIRST is an organization that combines "the excitement of sport with the rigors of science and technology. We call FIRST Robotics Competition the ultimate Sport for the Mind.”
FIRST stands for For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology.
FIRST Robotics Competition, a division of FIRST, achieves this easily by challenging students to come up with their own designs to best fit any scenario thrown at them. It becomes a true sport when students compete against each other to determine whose product will win out. Students must not only design robots, but build, program, strategize, scout other robots, and market and advertise their product, making this something truly anyone can participate in.

This is truly the sport where everyone can go pro.
StudentsFIRST
Our team is a StudentsFIRST team. StudentsFIRST is a student founded organization that promotes student led FIRST teams. We believe that adult and mentor overreach prevents students from achieving their full potential. StudentsFIRST is working towards many goals including forming initiatives to level the FIRST playing field.
